Here at Whitford Early Learning, the children are given many opportunities to be the ‘captain’ of their own learning. Through inspirational environments, nurturing teaching style and beautiful relationships with the children and their families the children gain and build confidence over their learning. Our main aim, as a teaching team, is to encourage capable confident learners which will support life long learning.

Adventure

Adventure is the exciting, risk taking part of learning. Here at Whitford Early Learning we encourage children to take calculated risks in their learning in a safe environment. Children learn what they are capable of and how to push themselves in many different mediums. The children are encouraged to take their learning to the next level by applying what they have learned in the natural, outdoor environments.

Nature

We are safely nestled in 5 Acers. The children get the opportunity to explore and extend their learning in the outdoor classrooms, the natural stream that runs through the property, the grassy paddocks, the shell gardens and so much more. We directly interact with nature, which gives the children a change to truly interact with the natural world. The animals on site lovingly grow the children’s sense of empathy

Creativity

Here at Whitford Early Learning we believe in supporting children to understand that challenges are opportunities to solve problems creatively. We have a range of creative materials that encourage children to explore and make sense of their world creatively.
